Videos & Time Lapses
I usually spend most of my time taking still images but every now and then I create a few videos as well - often as behind-the-scenes content for my Instagram Stories. Below is a collection of some of the videos I created over the years. Enjoy!

Sydney got hit by a massive shelf cloud
Some days you get lucky. This was one of them. I knew there was a storm on its way towards Sydney but it didn't know about the shelf cloud that was heading our way. Luckily I found a got vantage point and was just in time to get things started.
The icing on the cake was the magical light we saw at sunset. All of this happened in 60min.

My first canyoning experience
GoPro footage of my first canyoning adventure. Starting from Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, 90min west of Sydney, we drove out to Rocky Creek Canyon. After a short walk from the car park to the entrance of the canyon, we put on our wetsuits and jumped down the first waterfall.

I combined 149 images which shot for a timelapse sequence over 60min. I used a pretty simple and free software called StarStaX

First test of shooting a day to night time lapse sequence (though the windows of Sydney Tower)
High above Sydney's Central Business District, the Sydney Tower Eye provides a magnificent 360° view across the city. Especially sunsets are a quite popular time of the day when the city gets illuminated by the last warm sun light before you slowly see the city lights being switched on.
90 minutes of time have been compressed into less than half a minute of timelapse video to show this transition
Shot with a Canon 70D and my 18-135mm kit lens at f4.5, ISO400 and aperture priority
Edited in Adobe Lightroom and LR Timelapse with the video editing completed in Windows Movie Maker :-)
